ABOUT THE ADMINISTRATIVE/MARKETING ASSISTANT ROLE
The Administrative/Marketing Assistant is a remote position open to anyone in Central or Eastern time zones.
This dual role provides both administrative and marketing support to Shunta Grant and the Company.
The Administrative Assistant (“AA) is an integral part of the Operations of our Company. The AA ensures timely and efficient management of the company inboxes and calendar, is responsible for assisting Shunta with logistics of projects, activities, and events and allows our founder to spend her time focusing primarily on creating content, fostering relationships and teaching on the Company’s behalf.
The Marking Assistant (“MA”) is an essential part of the Sales/Marketing arm of the Company. The MA provides assistance with various marketing tasks such as, but not limited to, social media posting for the Business, Life & Joy podcast, email formatting and distribution, serving as a liaison between podcast editing team and other various tasks. The MA works closely with our podcast editing team, design team and ads manager/team and must be able to maintain joyful, clear and timely communications at all times.
The MA’s role overlaps with the AA in that the MA is also responsible for maintaining timely and joyful communications through the inbox that relate to opportunities for the Company’s brand message to be shared and spread.
Include but are not limited to:
→ Ensure that Company inboxes are 100% read each work day
→ Respond to every email that requires a response within 48 business hours
→ Update Shunta on information related to emails + calendar
→ Upkeep Shunta’s calendar and ensure its accuracy and lack of time conflicts
→ Logical upkeep and organization of information in Trello
→ Preparation of weekly agenda and ensuring it has the most up to date and accurate information
→ Ensure the podcast episodes are fully complete each week
→ Communicate with all guests for the podcast
→ Organize all aspects of ongoing marketing projects (i.e. graphics, videos, social media, podcast)
